Membership QuestionsWhat Are Some of the Benefits of Membership? You will belong to the liberal religious voice of our community. You will join hundreds of others who speak for social justice, freedom of thought, the worth and dignity of every human being, and environmental respect. You will have the right to vote at the Church Annual Meeting each spring. You'll receive regular church mailings - including our monthly newsletter, and a subscription to the UU World, the journal of the Unitarian Universalist Association. We'll also make a name tag for you to wear during social hour. When Can I Join Eliot Chapel?Membership Enrollment is held the first Sunday of each month, in Childrens' Chapel. What Are the Steps to Membership in Eliot Chapel?
There are no "belief" requirements for membership - such as creeds or statements of faith. We invite you to attend either the "New U" class, or one of the other classes that focus on Unitarian Universalism. Consult the New U webpage or call us at (314) 821-0911, for current classes. What Forms Must Be Completed Before I Join?We need to have your forms completed before you arrive to sign the Membership Book. Take your time to complete them at home. If you have questions, don't hesitate to phone us.
When you have completed these forms, you will be ready to sign the Membership Book. |
