Drainage outside Adams hall

Problem description

Water is seeping into the east wall of the RE wing, causing interior damage.  In addition, there is leakage at the top of the storage room wall that is rusting out corrugated steel that supports the concrete floor of Adams hall. The damage is primarily due to deterioration of caulking between the concrete and the wall, exacerbated by sloping on the ramp that sheds water toward the wall.

Proposed work

Re-pour concrete ramp with swail that channels water drainage down center, away from building.  Re-caulk edges of concrete and capstones on railing.

Projected cost

$?

Expected timing

Piggy-back onto parking lot work during Summer 2002
