Women of the Unitarian Universalist Community Church, Park Forest and Universalist Unitarian Church of Joliet invite you to let your spirit rise and sing through workshops, meditation, music, dance, art, reflection, laughter, ritual & sharing of our stories.
The main event is on Saturday, January 24th at the Holiday Inn Select Hotel & Convention Center of Tinley Park, Illinois which is located in the heart of the Chicago Southland.

Women & Religion
The Women & Religion (W&R) Committee is a standing committee of the Central Midwest District of the Unitarian Universalist Association. Nine women are chosen from a wide geographic area to represent women in the District for a three-year term. The W&R Committee sponsors a Winter WomanSpirit conference each year, along with a Summer WomanSpirit Conference at Camp Ronora in Michigan. Both events are organized by "local" committees with the help of the District W&R Committee.
Other services of W&R include SOPHIA Magazine, a quarterly journal of women’s original writing and art, and the “W&R Road Show,” a group of women who create and present woman-focused Sunday services at churches around the district.
