LEGs is a loosely organized group whose level of activity ebbs and flows over time, as there are those who are interested in organizing activites.
Primarily a social group, it was created as an interest-sharing support group for all adult members and friends of Eliot Chapel. It provides a safe, secure way to get connected to life at Eliot, in a social sense. It tends to attract singles more than couples, but is by no means limited in scope to a "singles group".
It provides an opportunity for a person who has an interest to organize an activity and share it with others. Examples of activities that have been organized in the past are:
- Movie nights
- Theater parties
- Hikes
- Float trips
- Holiday get-togethers
- lunch after church
