Madrigal

The Madrigal Dinner is an annual event the first weekend in December. King Henry VIII or Elizabeth I welcome guests to Castle Eliot where The Greenleaf Singers entertain with harmonious madrigals, the Not-Ready-For-Reformation Players perform a play from an original script, and comely wenches and sturdy knaves serve cider, wine and a succulent feast. Members and Friends of Eliot Chapel contribute their time and energy to make this event one of the important fund-raisers of the church year. It attracts many people from the community at large.

The Not Ready for Reformation Players are preparing for the 2007 Madrigal scheduled for November 29, 30, and December 1st. For those interested in a performance role, script reading tryouts are held in late September. Contact for more details.
