"Christmas on the Thames"
Madrigals by The Singers Greenleaf
Musical Interludes by The Recorder Societie
Synopsis: At Queen Elizabeth’s request for “something different,” the Lord High Chamberlain has carefully researched and booked a romantic dinner cruise for this year’s Christmas feast. Little does he know, but the “Tour the Thames Cruise Line” is run by retired pirate and Queen’s favorite, Sir Francis Drake. The Queen has arranged the marriage of Lady Crunch and Duke L.J. Silver, and means to use this romantic evening to introduce the couple and encourage their courtship. Little does she know, but the Duke’s heart belongs to another. What is in store for Queen Bess and her guests this evening as they cruise the Thames with a pirate and his crew in charge of the festivities? There is only one way to find out! |
