Eliot Chapel Nursery School was founded in 1963 by Eliot Chapel's Women's Alliance. It is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit school for 2-1/2 through 5 year olds. Its goal is to provide a safe, supporting and nurturing environment in which children may develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually.
The School's relationship with the church is symbiotic in many ways. The classrooms and playground used during the week by the Nursery School are used on Sundays by the Chapel's Religious Education program. The church is reimbursed for a share of direct costs through a formula established by the Eliot Chapel board.
