Scrip - A fundraiser for Eliot Unitarian Chapel
Scrip is a fundraiser for Eliot Unitarian Chapel. Members and friends purchase gift cards for grocery stores at face value and receive that same amount in purchases at the stores. Your grocery store shopping earns 5% for Eliot, at no cost to you.
Gift cards are available for the following stores:
- Schnucks
- Dierberg's
- Shop N Save
- Whole Foods
- Scrip is also available from many other stores, restaurants, hotels and gas stations. Orders are placed monthly near the end of the month. See Gift Cards for a printable order form.
Stop by the table in Adams hall after Sunday services and buy some scrip. There are about 400 families at Eliot. If 100 families bought $100 of scrip every week Eliot would earn $26,000 in a year - enough to cover the budget deficit.
