The Board of Trustees met for our December meeting in Adams Hall on December 19, 2023. The Search Team updated us on the team's progress. The members will offer an update to the congregation in mid-January.

The Board will host its annual meeting on Sunday, May 19 at 1:00 pm. One change under consideration will be a change to the bylaws to allow for online voting.

The Board held a strategic planning workshop in early December. A subcommittee led by Board President-Elect Carole Glauser will lead the charge to create a three-year rolling plan.

The Board is forming a personnel committee to ensure the church is following labor laws and is in right-relationship with the staff. The Minister will rely on the committee when the church is in search for new staff members. The Board is also forming a finance committee who will assist the treasurer with overseeing church finances.

The Board will host a winter retreat on February 3 to dig deeper on many of these issues we are tackling this year, including looking at our governance model and any changes that might be needed.

The Board's end-of-year fundraising ask raised more than $26,030 with more anticipated to come in.
