Steve was elected to the board in 2021. Steve has been a member at Eliot since 2018. He is in the humanist covenant group and has also participated in Eliot All-Reads and the Build Your Own Theology class. Steve's wife, Holly, is a member of the Parenting as a Spiritual Practice covenant group and his two kids, Sid (8) and Addie (7), attend the RE program and participated in the OWL K-1 program.

Outside Eliot, Steve is finishing a three-year term on the Lindbergh Schools – Board Advisory Committee for Student Life. Originally hailing from England, he is a regular hiker and camper (and lover of Bergfried) as well as a sailor and member of Creve Coeur Sailing Association.
