Get Involved with Summer Plans!

Traditionally, Eliot Religious Education closes down for a few months during the summer and children attend service with their caregivers. This year, a group of parents have come together to try to offer an alternative: supervised free play for kids entering grades K-6 on the back field and the 222 property (i.e. the fields at the rear of the building by the back parking lot) while parents and caregivers attend service. The kids can play group games, color at the picnic tables, and run around. But we need your help. We will need 2-3 volunteers per week to lead this beginning in June. Here's a link to sign up for supervised outdoor play.

In addition, we are hoping to offer childcare in the nursery during the month of July when we traditionally have not had staff available to provide this service, AND to provide an additional volunteer for support in the nursery during June and August. Here's a sign up sheet to help in the nursery

Please note that
background checks are required for those working with children. Scott Stewart is available through May 19 to assist with this process.

We'd love to make this a reality for the community and make Eliot a place where it's easy to bring your family all year round. Please contact us at
