When we have the honor to memorialize a member or friend of Eliot Chapel, we do our best to support the grieving family in as many ways as possible. One of the supports we have traditionally kept in place is to host a reception in Adams Hall following the memorial service. Our Reception Team plans and prepares a nice buffet of light refreshments and beverages for the family and their guests. It is a wonderful gesture of love and support to our families at a very challenging time. To provide a welcoming space for them to be surrounded by friends and family without having to worry about the details of entertaining is a priceless gift. The team leader, Kate Magrath, communicates with the family, does the shopping and organizes the team for each memorial service.
