How do Afghan dumplings and kebabs, Moroccan salad and bean stew, and macaroons sound to you? Mouthwateringly delicious for sure as the participating Eliot members and friends can tell! On Saturday, September 14, the Immigration Justice Team hosted Eliot Chapel's second Welcome Neighbor STL Supper Club event! Over seventy people enjoyed a delicious meal and supported immigrant and refugee families in St. Louis. 90% of the proceeds of these dinners go directly to the chefs to advance their path to greater independence in their lives here in the USA. The food was delicious, the friendship palpable, and the generosity for the Welcome Kit collection tremendous! Thank you to all who participated.
You still have the opportunity to go the extra mile and donate new items for the Welcome Kits to help newly arriving refugees.
Purchase a full kit with your friends or buy individual items. Use the QR codes on the above lists and send items directly from Amazon.
Join us in our historic Sanctuary or online each Sunday at 9:45 and 11:15 am. After the service, stay for Coffee Hour in Adams Hall.
The Eliot Chapel Front Office is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
