Sue Bell reviewed the treasurer’s report – very good news: In the context of the 2023-2024 fiscal end-of-year financial report, Eliot has a $70,000 surplus.

The Board is implementing a new minister evaluation process. The Minister Evaluation Sub-Committee is being led by Kathy Brunts and Bob Becker.

For its annual intellectual study focus, the Board has chosen the topic of the ongoing religious shift in America. Each month the Board will read a New York Times article on the subject. At their September meeting, the Board will discuss the article “Lots of Americans are Losing Their Religion. Have you?”
