Eliot Chapel Sanctuary, 100 S. Taylor Ave, Kirkwood

"The Five Stages of an Actor" is a one-man, one-act show written for Joneal Joplin by Jennifer Joplin. There will be a reception in Eliot Chapel’s Adams Hall following the performance.

Jop has been a professional actor for almost 60 years. His career has spanned most of the entertainment fields including stage, screen, radio, television, opera, and puppets. He has appeared in over 250 productions in the St. Louis area including 103 at The Rep and 67 at The Muny. Some favorite roles; “Buffalo Bill” in Indians, “Willie Loman” in Death of a Salesman, “Lear” in King Lear, “Doolittle” in My Fair Lady, “Captain Smith” in Titanic, and “Don Quixote” in Man of La Mancha. He feels blessed to have had a life full of what he loves surrounded by who he loves, especially his two multi-talented offspring, Jennifer and Jared, who constantly amaze him with the depth and purity of their acting and their lives, and most especially the woman who gave him those two and who has been the joy and inspiration of his life, the remarkably wonderful, Janie.
